school days mini clipboard

I found these cute mini clipboards in the wood section of AC Moore. The great thing about these is that they have a pre-cut hole in the back to hang it on the wall and they have a wood peg to make the clipboard an easel to keep on your desk. And they are great to post a schedule, to do list or a wallet photo.

After sanding the rough edges, I used brown paint and painted the clipboard. While the paint was wet, I wiped the excess off. It is best to do this in sections in case your paint dries quickly. This will give the wood a stained look without the staining.

Then I cut a small piece of paper and adhered it to the clipboard. I then added the stickers to a chipboard piece and glued that to the bottom. The flower was attached with a white brad through the hole and finished it off with tying a ribbon around the clip.

Supplies: paper, Basic Grey. chipboard, KI Memories. stickers, Making Memories. brown acrylic paint. flower, brad and ribbon.
